Yes, one side is pins with a key, the other side is an edge connector 
with a slot cut into it.  I think the normal way a drive acts when 
plugged in backwards is that it runs all the time, yet that isn't the 
case here...... it's been awhile since I've messed with this kind of 
thing, though.
