Well, it's a little odd, but no more so than some of the SGIs that look like a depraved ninja sliced thme on a slant and then glued them back together crooked. :)  Or the O2, which to me, looks like a toaster for a Hobbit.  Or the toilet seat laptop.  Guess you couldn't get one to fit in that corner you thought it would fit in.  :)
