Come to think of it, I bought a then current copy of Esix SVR3.2
in 1990. SVR4 did not come out to the PC vendors until later.

Somewhere I had a T1000, the lower cost version. I don't remember if
I kept it or not, but it was the only Telebit in the country.

Except for international calls, which I've never done UUCP over modems,
56k dailup was much faster. Often 28.8 and then 34k was too.
