It did, surprisingly enough. More than can be said for the factory-shipped
drive from my MacBook Pro, which failed after three months. It was in a
USB->SATA enclosure (I swapped it for a bigger drive as soon as I got the
machine), but it had been treated with kid gloves the whole time I'd had
it. Damn annoying...
