[rescue] Terminal server question

I'm looking at installing a terminal server to minimize the number of 
cords to plug and unplug on my machines. What I'm looking at is either 
a Xyplex Network 9000 with a Repeater 3065 and Terminal Server 720 or a 
Xyplex 1600, and I'm not sure which would be better to use, never 
having worked with these beasts before (these two just fell into my 
lap).

I can find some information about the 1600, but very little about the 
Network 9k/TS720, and not too much about how well it would work for the 
hobbyist (both of them have the Flash cards).  What does the list 
think?
