There was only one. Unfortunately, while I was good technicaly, the
partners on the business end dropped the ball and never took the
offers of funding we got to build them. 

I'm the muse behind another project to create the operating system
(not Linux) for a more general case and then spin it off into a several 
devices including a gaming device, and amoung others, a truely sub $100 laptop. 

There was another, which was doomed before it started that made a big
splash at a Consumer Electronics show, but the company went belly up
by the end of the first day. They never actually built one, they had
a "demo" under glass which showed movies of them playing games.

Ours was not as fancy but we had overcome problems they had encountered
and ignored and actually ran games.
