The IBM PC was launched in 1981.
The IIgs came some time after that.
The IIc came out in 1984, and the IIgs, if I remember correctly, wasn't a
project until 1985 and it came out a year later in 1986.
I suppose Wozniak could have been working on the design for some time, but I
don't remember them announcing the IIgs in 1981. Seems to me it was only
about a year before it came out.
