Thanks.

A friend in France is trying to make a boot disk from an ISO image, and not
haing much luck. "Not much luck" being defined as not being able to boot
from a disk burned on a PC using Nero, but with the O2 in question having a
CD-ROM drive of unknown provenance.

I tried burning a disk from the same ISO image, using Roxio on WinXP, and I
couldn't boot my O2 with it, either.

However, using cdrecord on an SGI I made a bootable dsk from the same ISO
image. Since my Windows PC won't _read_ that working disk, I suspected that
it couldn't write it, either. Since you say it can, and I know bootable SGI
disks have been made on PCs (although how, I didn't know), I suspect there's
another factor at play here.

Thanks, all!
