I *LOVE* torrents! But I've hit the same thing a number of times, where 
stuff comes and fades away. That is why I figure a static, it's always 
there system would be a bit better.

As far as runtime, 757.org is going on it's 10th birthday in August. The 
data is going on a friends machine who colocates it with others in my 
apartment, he has more diskspace and a p4 in the box doing nothing (along 
with mirrored 250GB disks at this point).

I'm not going to buy disk space in advance, because the longer you wait, 
the cheaper it gets :-)

ALSO, I found this old thing called hotline... it's a mac p2p network 
thing. Well one of these oddball hotline servers had UNICOS on it and 
other Cray warez. Pretty bizzare.
