[rescue] help on stack size

Guys,
does someone know how to change default ulimit of 65Megs
for Solaris 9 for regulars users?
I tried putting ulimit -s 131070 in /etc/profile/.profile/.kshrc,
but I keep getting
ksh: ulimit: exceeds allowable limits
Any ideas which /etc/system params to touch?
I made a project, but it still sucks.
