[rescue] OS X is certified UNIX

POSIX and UNIX have little to do with each other but don't seem that
way on the surface.  POSIX is a specification for a programming
interface (API) and user interface.   I'm sure it's a heck of a lot
easier to do this on a UNIX (or UNIX like) system but UNIX isn't
required.
