HOLY CRAP! I totally forgot about that. I sold that Onyx to someone, then 
he is like duuuude is it okay if I sell it to so and so or something... 
cause I know you hooked me up or something. And then he drops the name and 
it's like DUUUUDE I know him.

Pretty wild. I forgot about that.

I sold a Crimson to someone who used to sysadmin the Walnut Creed 
cdrom.com server. That was cool.

I would generally just hope to come out even. I gave all my Mac II stuff 
to a friend, who turned around and gave it all to a childrens hospital, 
loaded with edu games or something. Pretty wild. I was generally after 
lasers and SGIs.

Once the auctions went to the internet, I quit. I couldn't afford to 
compete with people from higher paying markets like California. They were 
bidding high amounts, and not realizing that the systems are often 
partial. I remember a guy bid $440 on a Challenge L. I had the benefit of 
being able to walk over and check the stuff out. It was empty. Not a card 
in the box, just cobwebs. The custodians knew nothing about any of it, 
they just listed it.

Man those were the days back when. Even tho the onyx might have costed me 
like $700-800+, they were rare to come by.

Now, I'm surprised Origin 3800s aren't free.
