As far as I know, Tiger will run on anything with PCI and a factory G3
(which is NOT the Kanga aka 3500) with enough RAM and disk space,
if you use XPostfacto. 

There are some powersaving issues, even with supported computers. 

Before you try to install it, you have to install any firmware updates. 
They are on the 9.1 CD, or can be downloaded. I think you need to do 
this for ANY version of OSX. For some strange reason, they need
to be run from a writeable OS9 boot disk, so you have to install
OS9 first anyway.
