Yes I did also recently pick up a T1 105 and I agree it is a much easier 
machine to get along with.

Believe it or not, I am getting kernel panics trying to install Sol 10 
on this turkey just booting off cdrom.

Yeah I got my T1 105 with 1GB installed but the tradeoff was the 
faceplate was missing and all the drives (including optical) were ripped 
out.  I popped in a 73GB 10KRPM Ultra320 drive and it worked just fine 
(installed OS via "boot net:dhcp" & tftp method)
