As I've noticed from the U5/U10 desktops at work (and what I've heard 
about SB100s), they're made from cheap PC quality components, and fail 
more often than our Dell Optiplex desktops (ignoring the GX270s 
with "bad cap" syndrome).

I'd say that U5/10/SB100/150 are ok machines for using as test machines, 
or some unimportant task where you don't mind the machine requiring 
parts replacement once in a while, but I wouldn't want to trust them for 
anything important. :/

I'd note also that most of the failures I've seen were from the power 
supply, or the from case fan (aka cpu fan) dying.  Replacing the power 
supply with a higher quality & wattage ATX supply will probably go a 
long way torwards making the machines more reliable.
