Hm.  One has to wonder what it would take to sufficiently insulate the
metal container from the soil so as to permit burial.

A blackbox, another 20' shipping container or two for more mundane
purposes (food storage, sleeping areas, etc.), short connecting hallways
of similar material, and a generator on a concrete pillow above ground,
and you could have your very own "Vault 13".

It'd sure beat waiting out a tornado in a root cellar AND you wouldn't
have to worry about people nicking your kit.  Who'd look for expensive
computer equipment in a storm cellar?
