You do realize, Mr. Quixote, that you are talking about the company that is writing $2.5M checks to the EU becuse it chooses not to comply with thier regulations? A few folks complaining about X-Message-Flag pop-ups will result in folks tuning out the folks that send them, not to change their software.

If I get bad gas at the local SHell gas station, I avoid the local Shell gas station, I don't switch to an electric car... Folks annoyed by the pop-ups will take the path of least resistance and unsubscribe I suspect, not call Microsoft to task for leaving a hole for some folks to exploit to annoy others with (whatever their motive)...
