[rescue] SS20 SX stuff

I have a SS20 with a cg14 (the SX).

I was poking at it today, and I found that, mirabilu dictu, it (a)
supports 1280x1024, (b) support 1600x1280, (c) supports 1920x1080 (!),
and (d) the monitor I have at hand supports all of these (!! - though
1920x1080 is displayed with a rather squashed aspect ratio).

Then I discovered that what I have is a 4M VSIMM, so I can't actually
use any of those, except in 8bpp. :-( (Well, I can run in 24bpp, but
it acts as though it just ignores the high bit of the video memory
address - early video memory is displayed twice on the screen, and
accessing it by the host at high addresses actually wraps and accesses
lower memory. Not very useful.)

I have two questions:

(1) When looking at the resolutions, I note that some of them have an
"m" appended (eg, r1600x1280x76m). Insofar as I can tell from testing
(which has been rather minimal), this m does not actually change
anything. So, my question is, what does it mean?

(2) I don't suppose anyone by any chance has an 8MB VSIMM for the SS20
to sell? Googling leads me to suspect someone here did a few years
back, but that doesn't necessarily mean much.
