[rescue] NUT or APC-UPSD with Compaq R3000?

I have a Compaq R3000 (30A twist lock).  Seems to be working good, but,
so far, neither NUT nor APC-UPSD seems to know how to talk to it.

Am I correct that this is a rebadged APC unit?  Does it have any smarts,
or is it a "dumb" unit that only signals when it is time to power off? 
I would like to be able to get some values from it.

Also, when the "red light" goes on for the battery load indicator, what
%-age of the rated power are you using at that point?
