I think if you have a recent enough OBP you are ok there.

a 501-4849-03,

The only indications are:
# The minimum operating system is Solaris 2.5.1.
# Ultra 2 OBP 3.7v0 and CPU >=501-3132-07 is required.
# UPA Terminator 501-4843 is required if only one module is installed
on Ultra 2 CPU <=501-3132-12.
# Jumper J2301 on Ultra 2 system board 501-3132 may need to be
adjusted for the 300MHz module.
# Modules <=501-4849-02 are not compatible with the Ultra 60.
# UltraSPARC II revision 1.1 is not compatible with the Netra ft 1800.
# Mixing module speeds is not supported.
# The Ultra 450 and Enterprise 450 require DC-DC Converter 300-1322.
# Option X2240A includes a Module and DC-DC Converter 300-1322.

That would tell me that as long as you are matching CPUs by speed +
cache (ie 300MHz 2MB cache) you are ok. So any 501-4849 should work.

This is for the 400MHz but mentions the settings on the 300MHz.

I cannot find anywhere that you need precise matching of revisions.
