This takes me back, a 3/60 was my first Sun.  Once I got enough memory and
a P4 cg6 (from a 4/330) I was flying.

Take a look at the last post in this thread:

Essentially you want to use the "q" command to program the EEPROM with the 
correct device name and ID.  The boot list in DIAG mode is different, so 
make sure theat switch is in the NORM position.

You'll want 0x18-0x1d set to 12, 73, 64, 00, 00, 00 to autoboot from 
sd(0,0,0).

Somewhere I actually have a 3/60 hw ref manual with boot PROM information 
in it, it makes for interesting reading.
