The AXe MB was designed with an eye towards 2U cases, and ships with a PCI
adapter to run one PCI card parallel to the MB in such a case. A 1U case could
introduce airflow issues (I imagine) and the riser boards to put two PCI
boards in the case would be third-party parts (though standard)...
Remember, I said "odd" not impossible ;^)
