[rescue] OT: Intel 510T switch question

Hi all,
Resently got ahold of an Intel 510T switch. I'm trying to use the 
management app but I need to set/reset the switch's IP. Does anyone know 
how to get a serial console on one of these? I tried using both a 
straight and nullmodem cable on the console port with the terminal set 
to 9600/n/8/1 but all I get is a few garbage charicters. Am I doing 
something wrong? is there another way to reset this switch to default 
params?
