Can anyone suggest a reliable, affordable source of these drives,
besides EBay? I know that list sponsor Anysystems might carry them; does
anyone have other suggestions of places to shop for these where we could
feel comfortable passing them on to a third party?
I told my brother that it's like trying to buy leaded gas. :7) But
car nuts always seem to have a source for their strange hardware needs,
and I know this group is similarly..."resourceful." Sometime you just
need what you need. I suggested that if the customer really only wants
the data off some tapes in order to put it onto another format then
buying the drives might not be a bad idea -- but keeping them in
production is another thing.
Thanks for any suggesitons.
