You can make that more. I am sure 256's will work. I had a 600e with
544mb ram working. It was the P3 model but technically they are the same.
I swapped parts from the pII and pIII's before.
Just because crucial does not list it does not mean it won't work. It
could be that crucial just does not have the 256's in stock.
