Solaris 9 is good, no doubt about it.
Nice things about 10:
zones
dtrace
supposedly better networking stack
iSCSI, and iSCSI target mode (maybe in update 1, not sure)
SMF can be a plus or minus, depending on how you look at it.
I wish they had taken half a day and written a shell script that
walked you through creating your own SMF script for your custom apps.
XML in config files? Blecch.
