My friend travelled from Cali to Las Vegas and said he passed tons of
them. He had a picture and side to side all you see is little windmills
spanning, LOTS of them.
Pretty wild. The only problem I could see is when they stop spinning. If
you look up the Megawatt output, I think some of the coal slurry plants.
The nearby coal plant (in Chesapeake Virginia):
Net Generating Capacity: 760 megawatts
Generating Capacity by Unit:
Unit 1 - 118 megawatts
Unit 2 - 118 megawatts
Unit 3 - 172 megawatts
Unit 4 - 230 megawatts
If the windmills really drop 1 megawatt each, 1000 of them would do the
trick, as long as the wind blows.

Dominion energy's information about plants. On the left, pick the type
(Nuke, Coal, etc).
