Well, for some reason I forgot to "google" my error message (hey, it was early
;^), but when I did I found this link:
http://www.webservertalk.com/message342214.html - it implies that there is a
problem with one of the patches, and I can either:

1) Remove the "mpt" lines from /etc/driver_classes and /etc/driver_aliases or

2) add the missing "mpt" entry to /etc/name_to_major

I think I'll go for option 3) - remove the card and boot -r, since i have no
use for the card in this machine anyway (it has a 120 Gig IDE HD, and I'm
noping to put an IDE CD-RW/DVD drive in as well.

BTW, any pointers on suitable IDE CD-RW/DVD drives usable in an Ultra 5 would
be appreciated - I hope to do limited .ISO image burns and read Solaris
install DVD media on the drive. I am hoping that any IDE CD-RW/DVD drive will
work, but I'm prepared for that not to be the case...
