Subject: [rescue] Seagate ST118273LC noises?
Does anyone have experience with seagate drives like this and the
noises they make? I hear a noise that reminds me of the full-height
Fujitsu drive I had 10 years ago.
When busy, a sort of "chunk-chunk" noise with a bit of vibration you
can feel thu the chassis of the machine it is mounted in. Format
reports no errors in the drive.
Is it just a typical noise for these drives?
