Looks similar to mine, except I only have 14 slots as this is a deskside.

That's what I tought, but of course it's not happening. I tried
connecting to the serial port and I'm not getting anything either. A
crimson only needs pin 2 -> pin 3, pin 3-> pin 2 and groung to ground
(pin 7 on the crimson side and pin 5 on the laptop side) right, like an
Onyx or Challenge?
