I was really considering spending $600 including shipping on this 
machine which when converted to pounds would still be expensive but I 
was looking at selling my 400/500 and the 4000/90 to offset it. Mainly 
due to the speed and the (2)scsi cards but I was talked out of it by my 
girlfriend and stupid talk of food, living and holidys etc. I know 
prices and value have been spoken about many times on this list but I 
think it's worth the money when you look at the #50 I paid for the 500 
and the borrowing a  car + friend for the day. I just wish I had the 
money. Good machines like this don't seem to come up over here even at 
stupid prices on ebay.
