Thanks for the tip on x2x. I may try that as well. We'll see how 
compiling synergy goes on SPARC NetBSD...

Synergy works pretty well on Solaris and Linux (at home here), but I 
cheated and just grabbed the binaries. The source (at work on Solaris) 
told me I needed pthreads to compile it...
