This is a rather thorny issue, and may be open to rather hostile
response by "intellectual property" companies (like Intergraph,
ex-makers of the above-mentioned Clippers (even though they bought
the technology from Fairchild)) that specialise in, and make their
living from, lawsuits. Quite honestly, I'm not exactly sure how
to approach this, but I have a sneaking suspicion that any notion
of a "policy" shouldn't be codified because it might bite somebody
at some point. I suspect that common sense should rule here. That
said, "Rescue" should most assuredly *NOT* become a "warez" purveyor.
