[rescue] dead SGI O2

I just rescued an SGI O2 R10K, but when I start it up the led is a solid red.
According to docs at techpubs.sgi.com this is a cpu problem. I tried to reseat the cpu
but no go.
I have the possibility to test an R5K on the machine, but I'm not sure that an R5K
will work on a R10K system board.
Anyone on the list know if this will work or not?
