[rescue] fx a large drive under IRIX 6.5

Right.  fx's format module gave no progress information and ran to
completion in a reasonable amount of time.  Unfortunately, it didn't fix the
problem.  The 516-byte sectors were still 516 bytes long....

Now, I've got a copy of sformat, but it's mips-4 and I need mips-3.

The fun never ends.
