I haven't tried to actually attach anything to my SB100, but boot ttya
from PROM attempts to call on the serial A line.  Presumably you'd have to
do some host-fu to get tftp/bootp working over SLIP, but it LOOKS like
PROM will try.  What the hell, you can only try, but if I were you, I'd
closet myself with the target and a good null-modem host, verify it works,
then get a large quantity of your beverage of choice riding on it ;)
