Well, I am sitting here at the keyboard of a U30 we bought when it was new.
If I hadn't read your note about the light above the powerswitch I probably
would have gone right on not noticing it.  I don't recall ever having seen it
lit?  The system, however, runs just fine.

I assume that the unit fails to boot up in the usual way on screen.
