Well, the SS/20 "dream system" is a compromise...

2x SM81 CPUs (anything faster gets *stoopid* expensive)
2x 8 Meg VSIMMs (no real compromise here, best available)
6x 64 Meg DIMMs (I'd prefer an even 512 Meg of RAM, but 384 Meg is
good)
2x 4 Gig HDs (anything larger will most likely cook the system)
1x Internal CD-ROM (slow as anything, but internal is good)

And:

No major blemishes on case
All SBUS/MBUS slots covered properly
Security Block in place

Next up, clearing out my SS/5 bits to make my dream SS/5:

170 MHz TurboSPARC CPU
256 Meg RAM (8x 32 Meg is max)
Internal CD-ROM
2x 4 Gig HD (it's just a desktop)
1x TGX+ Framebuffer

And in physically great shape (IIRC, it was NOS/factory refurb) from
Sun
