[rescue] Building OpenSSH 3.9p1

Has anyone built OpenSSH 3.9p1 from the tarball at
ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/OpenSSH/portable/ ?  Any "issues" in
building or installing?

If I'm already running fw_sshd off the freeware.sgi.com site (it's OpenSSH
3.7p1, I think), what do I need to do?  Just uninstall the freeware package,
and do the usual "configure-make-make install" on the new stuff?
