Pentiums came out in '93 and tended to have 8 or 16 megs of ram in them
at the time.

I think we would be talking a DX/50 or DX2/66 on the high end with 8+
megs of ram, or a sx/33 w/ 4 megs on the low end of new for 12 years ago.
