[rescue] DVD Burner in an Ultra 10

What does anyone here think about the possibility of a DVD burner 
working in an Ultra 10?  Does the crappy ATA controller have enough 
bandwidth?

If not, does anyone know if any add-in ATA cards might be bootable with 
PROM 3.2.29?  I know that's a very longshot.

If it makes a difference, this is a 440mHz U10 512mb/40gb running 
Solaris 8 02/02.
