Ooh, that's a thought!  Does anyone know where I can get a
short (about .3 inches) male to female SCA extender?  I need to
extend some SCA connectors on a 1" drive backplane so I can
use (half as many) 1.6" drives.

Failing that, I suppose a 7" cable would also work.
