Yup, 486. The first NetApp I saw was a 450, we had one at Illuminati
Online (io.com), back in 1995. IIRC, 14 2G DEC drives (RZ28?), two EISA
Adaptec host adapters, and 100 Mbs Ethernet. They even let us put in
our own Adaptec host adapter so we could plug in our tape drive (same
model as the existing units). All this in a big floor-standing tower
case.
It was later upgraded to a 540, I think... Yellow face-plate with purple
lettering?
