Can you fake out the NetApp with SCSI<->IDE adapters?

Also, I personally would fine 16gigs of netapp space for home
directories, database directories, etc, paired with 250 gigs of space on
an IDE device (PC, U5, etc) to be extremly usefull.  Store important
stuff on the safe server, and unimportant stuff (redownloadable,
regeneratable, etc) on the IDE.
