Also, the move to Alpha was in part due to the slow speeds available from
Intel/x86 CPUs at the time ('98, etc).

When you boot up our 940, you get messages about its Intel Serverworks
motherboard chipset - our NetApp rep said that when he fired one up at
AMD, the guys there went "HEY NOW!" 8-)
