That's what I had found back then. Tom's hardware guide was misguiding 
the general populace IMHO as far as performance. I seem to remember that 
Anandtech had some different viewpoint.

We ran the tests here, and it was clear. All our CAD workstations were 
ordered with rambus and they outran the DDR. So that is what I got for home.
