Oh, okay.  Like I said, distracted....

I must be working off of bad info then.  I've seen/heard this several
times - but admitedly never from a SGI engineer.  The reason, I've been
told, is that the 1.2 can't keep up with the refresh rates.  I don't
know the veracity of that though, so take that with a grain of salt.
