Same here.  I hit my 1-year contract in the next week or so.  Just
in time to upgrade to the color model.   I don't care so much about
the color screen (although higher contrast is easier on the eyes)
but the extra memory will be useful now that I can actually install
additional apps.  It only took, what, A YEAR for that promised
enhancement?  Also the color model supports a more usable camera
resolution (320x240 over 120x80-ish) so perhaps now I'll bother
setting up an automated mail alias to post them to a web page with 
captions.
