I just installed sugarplum last night (installation took about 15
minutes, mostly spent in hand-editing install.sh and httpd.conf). It
seems to work fine, and the teergrube (tarpit) support is nice. I don't
have extra IPs to run a tarpit on right now, so I just pointed the
teergrube addresses at my other domain, babcom.com, which I abandoned
for email purposes in February and which is MX'd directly into Spamcop
as a known-clean spam feed.
I don't know if there's any point to running more than one on a site.
This one looks reasonably valid too. I concur with the argument that
WPOISON's author has missed the point -- the logo and link requirements
are like a big neon sign saying "Don't spider this site, it's poisoned."
