Use the R4400.  The R4400-175Mhz in the Indy has 1MB of secondary cache
(IIRC), while the R4600-100Mhz has *0* secondary cache.  Yes, *zero*. 
Nada, nil, zip, zilch.  

BRLCAD (IIRC) can make good use of that 1MB of secondary cache.
